Matt Barnes is Director of Global Operations for CWG. In this core role, Mr. Barnes is responsible for the day-to-day operations at all CWG sites, and works closely with the VP of Global Operations to increase operational efficiencies and support new lines of business. Mr. Barnes is an accomplished operations manager with 25 years of experience in both retail and OEM production environments, and over a decade in wireless communications. His reputation for collaboration and customer service is uniquely suited to the management of CWG's global logistics, materials, supply chain, planning, and repair functions.
Prior to joining CWG, Mr. Barnes was Senior Manager of Repair Operations at Samsung Telecommunications America; and held multiple management positions at Nokia, including Vendor Manager for Repair Operations, Project Office Manager for the Customer Service Organization and Logistics Systems Project Manager, and gained extensive international experience as the leader of successful ERP implementations spanning five countries and various locations. He is a Certified Change Agent, is trained in Project Management, and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. Mr. Barnes is a lover of all sports, with particular affection for the game of golf, and Texas football.
