CWG strengthens retail, leisure and hospitality offering with 15 new openings – 07.10.26

With visitor footfall tracking ahead of last year’s record-breaking total of 76 million, CWG’s retail, leisure and hospitality offer strengthened in Q3, welcoming 15 new brands.

The latest additions span food and drink, fashion, hospitality, beauty and wellness reflecting the continued evolution of Canary Wharf as an exciting destination to shop, eat, socialise and spend time.

Foodie lovers can now visit Scandinavian salad brand, Holy Greens who chose Canary Wharf as its first UK location, Café Beam, an independent Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant serves their brunch menu alongside an expansion on their original concept with a dinner menu, and Bamboo Mat introduces Nikkei cuisine to Wood Wharf.

The Tallyman brings a new traditional pub experience to the district growing the evening and weekend offer.

Yellow Ladder Coffee has joined the district’s coffee scene, while GAIL’s has opened its second Canary Wharf bakery and Vagabond adds to the evening offer with its self-serve offer.

Adding to the district’s hotel offering, House of Gods has opened at 12 Bank Street, with stylish rooms and the Sacred Garden rooftop bar and restaurant offering stunning views overlooking Eden Dock. Also at 12 Bank Street, Landing Canary Wharf provides design-led events space for up to 450 guests, complete with a private waterside terrace.

The beauty and wellness offer has expanded with Code8 and its bespoke lipstick experience, French men’s skincare brand Horace, and a new FaceGym location. Cherub Tricho, specialising in trichology and hair and scalp health, has also opened in Wood Wharf. Potato Art Studio completes the new leisure line-up with creative experiences including pottery painting.

These openings follow a busy summer on the Wharf with the launch of Sea Lanes Canary Wharf, a 50-metre outdoor floating swimming pool submerged in Eden Dock, complete with saunas and Dockside Bar and Kitchen, which welcomed over 30,000 visitors in its first month of opening.

Looking further ahead, Tattu will be opening its second London restaurant later this year whilst UNIQLO is set to open in 2027, bringing the international fashion brand to Canary Wharf and further strengthening the district’s fashion offer.

Stuart Fyfe, Managing Director for Retail, Leisure & Hospitality at CWG, said: “Canary Wharf continues to build on the momentum of recent years. Following a record-breaking 76 million visitors last year, footfall is continuing to grow, and customers are increasingly choosing Canary Wharf as a place to shop, eat, socialise and spend their time.

“What’s particularly exciting is the diversity of brands choosing to make their home here. From Holy Greens selecting Canary Wharf for its first UK location and The Tallyman opening as our first pub, to established names such as Jigsaw and GAIL’s alongside exciting independent businesses, these 15 openings demonstrate the breadth of what Canary Wharf offers.

“With more openings to come, including UNIQLO in 2027, we’re excited to continue building one of London’s most exciting retail, leisure and hospitality destinations.”
